Van Buren County junior guard Abigail Netherton dropped a career-high 46 points Friday night in her team’s 96-27 victory at South Pittsburg.
Netherton went 8-10 from three-point range and 6-6 at the free-throw line. She tacked on 7 steals and 6 assists in the victory.
The Eaglettes improve to 20-3 overall and 6-0 in District 6-1A play and are scheduled to host current Class 3A #1-ranked White County on Tuesday.
