The Smith County Owls tied their deepest postseason run in program history in 2026 as they wrapped up their season in the Class 2A state final four on Thursday. The Owls fell to Milan, 11-8, in an elimination game at Stewart’s Creek High School.
The Owls won District 6-2A, Region 3-2A and finished with a 26-15 overall record under head coach Malone Smith.
