Putnam County Volunteer Reception Center Sign Up Process Now Established

COOKEVILLE, T.N. — Due to the outpouring of local, regional, and national support to volunteer, our team has established a process and protocol for managing volunteer opportunities, long-term. See below for links to join the relief effort.

A NEW Volunteer Reception Center has been established.

Putnam County Fairgrounds

Cookeville, TN 38501

In order to be as effective as possible in the recovery, the number of volunteers onsite will be limited per day.

STEP 1

SIGN-UP TO VOLUNTEER

STEP 2

Following the sign-up process, you will be contacted to be assigned a team leader to provide further direction. Be prepared to volunteer immediately or be prepared to wait, depending upon the need for volunteer placement.

STEP 3

Present your signed waiver/release in-person at your assigned volunteer location.  Download the Volunteer Waiver and Release Form HERE.

DRESS CODE / RESTRICTIONS

Appropriate workwear required, e.g. work shoes, long work pants, no shorts, no sandals or flip flops. If you have safety glasses/goggles and/or gloves, it is recommended you bring them. Some may be available, as supplies last.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
