One goal was enough for the Cookeville Lady Cavaliers Tuesday night at Livingston as they defeated the Lady Wildcats 1-0 to open the 2025 regular season.
Aubrey Childress delivered the lone score with 26:14 remaining in the first half via a strike from outside the box to give the Lady Cavs a 1-0 lead.
Cookeville’s defense held off Livingston from there to secure the 1-0 victory. Up next for the Lady Cavaliers is a home game on Thursday against Lebanon while Livingston travels to the Smoky Mountain Cup this weekend.
