UCR EXPERT PREDICTIONS Presented By TLT Sports Performance: Week 8

Friday, Oct. 10, 2025

Noah: 64-16

Justin: 62-18

Jacob: 63-17

Goose: 62-18

Guests: 59-21

This week’s guest picker is CJ Newton, owner of Newton Creative. CJ has done professional video work for ESPN, the University of Tennessee, Under Armour and even a few videos for UCR.

Livingston (5-2) at Stone Memorial (6-1) (Mayberry’s GOTW)

Noah: Stone Memorial 35-20

The Panthers are red-hot, this is a huge test for a Livingston squad still looking for their first win over a team with a winning record. The Panthers offense stresses a defense in unique ways, and while I think it’ll be a competitive game, they have earned the benefit of the doubt.

Justin: Stone Memorial 21-20

Stone Memorial has been rolling this year, but this Livingston squad has some fight in them. Give me Stone to win a closer game than some people think.

Jacob: Stone Memorial 35-21

Stone got a marquee win last week at Macon County and now have their sights set on a home playoff game. The Wildcats are looking to bounce back and we’ll see if they’re able to slow down Noah Potter and the explosive Stone offense. I like the Panthers to defend their home field.

Goose: Stone Memorial 41-28

It’s been a few years since we’ve had a high-stakes Stone Memorial/Livingston game, and this one should live up to the hype in Crossville. Stone’s offense is firing on all cylinders and gets a huge weapon back this week in Dylan Phillips, so I’ll take the Panthers at home.

CJ: Stone Memorial 28-17

Stone Memorial can sling the ball all over the place and is one of the funner teams to watch in the Upper Cumberland. I’ll take coach Samber’s squad at home.

Upperman (5-2) at York Institute (0-7) (UCR2)

Noah: Upperman 49-0

Two teams in incredibly different spots.

Justin: Upperman 41-8

Both teams need to get out healthy this week.

Jacob: Upperman 42-0

Bees continue their dominance and Bronzden Chaffin bolsters his Mr. Football candidacy.

Goose: Upperman 42-6

This would’ve been a great game the last three years, but this year’s iteration should be all Upperman in Jamestown. York is a victim of their own success with a brutal schedule this year.

CJ: Upperman 42-0

Upperman should handle business this week against a rebuilding York squad.
