Noah: Gordonsville 21-14

Two teams with elite defenses, I like the Tigers ability to win time of possession and earn their best win since 2012.

Justin: Gordonsville 28-21

All the talk has been about Marion County, but Gordonsville’s pretty dang good, too. Gordonsville has experience winning in November and I’ll take them on the road.

Jacob: Gordonsville 21-14

Two elite 2A programs meet in the quarterfinals as Gordonsville hits the road south this week. I’ll take the Tigers to make history and get back in the semifinals.

Goose: Marion County 35-28

This is such a tough game to pick, but the defending Class 2A state champion Marion County Warriors are going to be a tough out at home. Gordonsville has everything they need to win the game in Jasper, but I’ll go with a close Warriors victory.

Clay County (11-1) at South Pittsburg (11-1)

Noah: Clay County 28-21

This is simple, I’ve got to make up games and I get to be a homer. Win-win. Nolan Adams goes off and the dawgs pull off the upset 

Justin: South Pittsburg 49-14

South Pitt has an athlete advantage in this one. A great season for the bulldogs, love ya Bruce!

Jacob: South Pittsburg 42-20

South Pittsburg has been a thorn in this area’s side for years, and it’ll take a huge effort from the Bulldogs to pull off the upset.

Goose: South Pittsburg 35-20

South Pittsburg has been on another tear this season, and Clay County will have to play a near-perfect game to pull out the win.
