UCR WEEK FOUR STANDOUTS: Quarterbacks Colt Loftis, Carter Haehl and Ryder Smith Headline Week Four Top Performances

Week four of the Tennessee high school football season is in the books with multiple Upper Cumberland athletes having breakout performances:

Colt Loftis, Jackson County QB

Loftis went 7-10 for 116 yards and 4 touchdowns in Jackson County’s 56-6 win at Red Boiling Springs. Loftis’ first three passes were touchdowns.

Carter Haehl, Macon County QB

Haehl went 10-14 for 243 yards and 2 touchdowns in Macon County’s 36-1o win at Trousdale County.

Ryder Smith, York Institute QB

Smith went 9-16 for 205 yards and 1 touchdown through the air along with a rushing touchdown in the Dragons’ 41-13 win over Livingston.

Nehamiah Hamilton, Clay County RB

Hamilton rushed for 137 rushing yards and a touchdown in Clay County’s 24-21 win on Friday.

Xavier Bentley, Macon County RB

Bentley had 6 rushes for 71 yards and 2 touchdowns in Macon County’s 36-1o win at Trousdale County.

Caden Copeland, Clay County LB

Copeland had a 13-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown, a sack and an interception in Clay County’s 24-21 win on Friday.

Fletcher Strong, Clay County QB

Strong went 14-20 for 162 yards and 2 touchdowns in Clay County’s 24-21 win on Friday.

Baylor Barnes, Livingston Academy WR
