The Decades Prom is a new event hosted by the Cookeville Jaycees (Junior Chamber). This event is to raise funds for the local chapter to assist in many other projects and community events within the year. Some of the projects that will benefit from this event is their annual “Christmas for Kids” program and sponsoring a child from the local area to attend Camp Discovery this summer. Camp Discovery serves people with disabilities who want to experience the wonders of summer camp. The funds also provide leadership training opportunities to its members by developing young leaders to create positive change in the community.
The Cookeville Jaycees would like to invite you and your family and friends to attend the Decades Prom (Adult Prom) at 1Nicks Restaurant on Friday, May 5th from 9pm until 1am. Dress in your favorite decade attire or dress in the decade that you went to your high school prom in. There will be specials offered all night long from Nicks and a photo booth from Ward Events. There will be music being played from all decades with special guest dj Freaky Dave from 98.5 Kiss FM.
