Cookeville Leisure Services’ Summer Camp Registration

Leisure Services summer camp registration opens April 17

COOKEVILLE – Summer break is a couple of months away, but registration for Cookeville Leisure Services’ summer day camp at the Cane Creek Recreation Center opens April 17 – and space is limited.

The camp, which opens May 22, is for children who have completed kindergarten up to age 12. The recreation center will be open to campers Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. The cost is $80 per week for full-time campers (four to five days per week) or $20 per day for part-time campers (one to three days per week).

Campers will have a summer of fun with crafts, activities and a different theme each week. They’ll spend time at the Cane Creek Recreation Center, Cane Creek Gymnasium, Cane Creek Park and also go on field trips to the swimming pool.

Campers should wear clothes and shoes they can play in comfortably and bring a water bottle labeled with their name. They may bring their own lunch or have lunch provided by the Putnam County School Nutrition Program. Morning and afternoon snacks are also provided.

Leisure Services also offers spring and fall camps.

For more information about summer camp, call the Cane Creek Recreation Center at 931-526-7393.
