The Prescott South Varsity Bulldogs beat Burks 9-0 in five innings on Tuesday at Prescott South after a five-run explosion in the fourth inning.
The Prescott South Varsity Bulldogs scored in the fourth on an RBI single by Tyler Hall, a groundout by Nicolas McCloud, an RBI single by Cole Parkerson, a wild pitch, and a walk by Blaine Espinosa.
Parkerson went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Prescott South Varsity Bulldogs.
The Prescott South Varsity Bulldogs stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the first, scoring four runs on two singles.
Nathan Bowling leads the Prescott South JV Bulldogs to 7-2 victory.
An impressive two-way performance from Nathan Bowling led the Prescott South JV Bulldogs to a 7-2 win Tuesday over Burks, as Bowling came up huge at the dish and on the rubber.
Bowling was solid at the plate for the Prescott South JV Bulldogs. Bowling went 1-1, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third inning.
Bowling looked sharp on the hill. Bowling gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.
The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to four lead changes in the game.
