The Prescott South Varsity Bulldogs uses big second inning to beat Fentress, 17-1

A 13-run explosion in the second inning carried the Prescott South Varsity Bulldogs to a 17-1 win in five innings over Fentress at Prescott on Tuesday.

The Prescott South Varsity Bulldogs scored in the second on a hit by pitch, a walk by Brooks Burr, a passed ball, a passed ball, a wild pitch, an RBI double by Parker Stout, a wild pitch, a passed ball, a groundout by Brady Lafever, a walk by Burr, a walk by Cole Parkerson, and a two-run double by Stout.

Stout racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Prescott South Varsity Bulldogs.

Keelan Key looked sharp on the mound. Key held Fentress hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

The Prescott South Varsity Bulldogs never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring one run on.
