September Events at Cookeville Senior Center
Thurs. Sept. 10, 11 a.m., DJ Scott Stevens plays music while the students from the free dance class held each Wed., 2-3:30 demonstrate the new steps they have learned. Afterward S. Shoates shows the wonders of Iceland, our big trip for 2016, and answers questions. This trip is open to adults at least 21 years of age. Then join us for a covered dish lunch – each person brings a dish or pays $5. Open to public, adults only.
Thursday, Sept. 10, 6;30p.m., DJ Scott Stevens plays your favorite dance music back to back for three hours. $5 admission, 40 and older.
Saturday, Sept. 12, 6:30 pm., Nashville’s Dennis Payne Band plays great country dance music, three hours. $5 admission, 18 and older.
Thursday, Sept. 17, 6:30p.m., One Eyd Dawg Band plays the country music you love, three hours, $5 admission, 40 and older.
Saturday, Sept. 19, 6;30p.m., DJ Scott Stevens plays your favorite dance music non-stop for three hours. $5 admission, 18 and older.
