Wilson Bank & Trust Signs on as Sponsor of 14th Annual Upper Cumberland Senior Expo

The Upper Cumberland Development District’s Area Agency on Aging and Disability (UCAAAD) welcomes Wilson Bank & Trust as a new sponsor for this year’s Upper Cumberland Senior Expo to be held in October.

The Senior Expo has historically drawn in hundreds of seniors, caregivers, and healthcare professionals each year to obtain information and resources from sponsors and vendors from all across the Upper Cumberland. This year’s Senior Expo will be held on October 22 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hyder-Burks Agricultural Pavilion in Cookeville, Tenn.

Wilson Bank & Trust joins the group of current sponsors of the 2015 Senior Expo: Alzheimer’s Tennessee, Crest Lawn Funeral Home, Cookeville Regional Medical Center, EMA, EMS, Heritage Pointe Senior Living, Highlands Senior Care, Home Caregivers, Home Instead, Quality Home Health, Buckeye, Signature of Putnam, St. Thomas Highlands Hospital, and Walgreens.

Becoming a sponsor for the Senior Expo was a natural fit for Wilson Bank & Trust, as the organization takes pride in being an active and integral part of each community, reinvesting in local communities, and supporting local events.

“Wilson Bank & Trust is all about serving people and investing in the community. We are proud to have this partnership with Upper Cumberland Area Agency on Aging and Disability,” stated Janie Pedigo, Marketing Assistant, for Wilson Bank & Trust. “We also love working with seniors.”

Wilson Bank & Trust is expanding its presence in the region with a permanent office building in Cookeville set to open in January. Pedigo encourages people to visit their locations and for seniors to take part in services they have to offer, such as the Solid Gold program for people age 50 years and older.

“We invite everyone to stop in and see us at our current location, 701 E. Spring St. in Cookeville, and then to visit our new building when it opens at January at the corner of Stevens, Jefferson, and Lowe Avenue,” Pedigo said.
