Update From David Gragg Benefit

As you know, the benefit for David Gragg that was scheduled for January 23, 2016 was rescheduled until January 30, 2016, because of the recent snow storms.  The benefit was sponsored by the Defenders Upper Cumberland Chapter #49 Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, along with the Cordell Hull Chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police, the Upper Cumberland Harley Owners Group, and the Upper Cumberland Chapter of the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club.

Over 80 riders participated in the event which raised nearly $6,500.00 for the Gragg family.  It is anticipated more money will be raised as a Harley Davidson motorcycle was donated by an anonymous donor. The motorcycle will be later auctioned through Tays Realty and Auction in an internet auction. The motorcycle is a 1971 Harley Davidson shovelhead 1200 cc Sportster.

We wish to express our gratitude to those who donated to the silent auction, the law enforcement agencies that participated, all of the volunteers who worked at the event, all of the, and especially to Boswell’s Harley Davidson for hosting the event and providing food for all those who attended.  Further, we wish to express our gratitude to all of those individuals in our local media who helped to spread the word about this worthy cause.
