A flock of soaring Eagles from East Nashville spoiled the Lady Bees run for a State Championship in a game much closer than the score indicates.

UC Reporter would like to congratulate the Upperman Girls on their Special Season, but more importantly, say thanks for the intense play, effort, hardwork, enthusiasm and high character each of you demonstrated while representing your school, the city of Baxter, Putnam County, your families and YOURSELVES in such a positive manner!

Keep your heads up, work hard, learn life’s lesson from this experience and we will see you  next year at state!
