Cookeville High School/Livingston Academy Compete at Dickson Invitational Cross Country Meet
Despite the heavy rain and mud, the CHS varsity boys team placed 3rd in the 5k race and were led by Caleb Aikens (2nd, 17:24), Ben Pardue (10th, 17:56), and Kyle Rusche (20, 18:36). The LA varsity boys team placed 19th with leaders including Wesley Cannon (90th, 21:30), Chase Hunter (118th, 22:56), and Austin Trull (121st, 22:59.50). The CHS varsity girls placed 3rd in the competition led by Courtney McCowan (5th, 20:56), Ifeoma Ikedionwu (23rd, 22:58), and Hannah Hart (22:59), while the LA varsity girls placed 11th and were led by Anya Beachy (72nd, 27:44), Jill VandomeLen (76th, 28:34), and Cassie Carter (89th, 32:12).
Cookeville Junior Cavs Girls Take 4th, Boys 7th in Dickson
Leading the way for the girls in the 2 mile race was Landri Wilcox (1st, 11:53), Maddie Long (22nd, 14:18), and Annie Kate McDermott (25th,14:22). The middle school boys were led by Jacob Sparks (18th,12:42), Ethan Delk (40th, 13:15), and Kaden Williams (51st, 13:26).
