The eighth annual Pink Ribbon of Hope Gala was held October 22, 2016 at the Leslie Town Centre, hosted by Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation. The proceeds from this event go toward helping women receive mammography screenings. From 2008 until the present more than 3,500 women from 15 Upper Cumberland counties have received these screenings. Because of these efforts breast cancer has been caught early and lives have been saved.
