Upper Cumberland educators meet at Vol State at Livingston

Educators from across the Upper Cumberland gathered at Volunteer State Community College at Livingston for the Upper Cumberland Education Leaders (UCEL) annual meeting.

Representatives from Vol State, Tennessee College of Applied Technology, Tennessee Tech, and directors of schools provided program updates and shared knowledge about current themes in education.

Tennessee Reconnect Act, Tennessee Promise, Dual Enrollment, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and secondary education graduation requirements were among the topics discussed.

The educators collaborate to ensure that their collective efforts provide outstanding educational services that promote the successful completion of academic programs for all students throughout the Upper Cumberland.
