Thursday, April 27, 2017, Putnam Co Habitat for Humanity dedicated their 75th home! It was the 3rd home built in their new neighborhood, West End Place. The home was sponsored and built by TTU Greek Life. Every Greek organization on Tech’s campus worked together to raised more than $50,000 last fall to fund the home.
This spring the students worked to build the home that will soon be bought by Courtney Flynt. Ms. Flynt will purchase the home with a zero percent mortgage that will keep it affordable for her. Her mortgage payments will return to Habitat, to assist in building future homes. For more information, call 528-1711.
