Dr. Shawn Krosnick, a professor of Biology at Tennessee Tech, visited the Prescott South Elementary kindergarteners on Friday, September 22, 2017.
The students have been learning about apples and pumpkins so Dr. Krosnick shared the jobs of each part of a plant. She also brought in examples of each plant part so the students got to look, touch, and feel them throughout the demonstration.
Two others from the Biology department assisted Dr. Krosnick during the presentation.
