COOKEVILLE, T.N. — Police say a woman called 911 claiming clowns were attacking her in Cookeville.
The 911 call was made on October 14th just before 4pm. Police responded to the parking lot of an apartment complex on North Chestnut Avenue.
The woman told police via the 911 call that clowns have attacked her, and the wonderful, wonderful, people have the clowns in custody, according to a police report..
The woman was taken into custody on a public drunkenness charge. Her name has not been released at this time.
