COOKEVILLE, T.N., — Putnam County Sheriff’s Department received a call from a female that a felon was on her property. When a deputy arrived, the scene ended with a suspect being forced into handcuffs.

According to reports, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department received a call on Feb. 27 from a female identifying herself by the name of Hendrix. Allegedly, the caller told dispatch that a woman was on her property and that she was a felon.

When a deputy arrived at the location of Carrs Chapel Road, he found Jacquline Holloway, 28, standing near the road and another woman, Angela Vallem, seated in her vehicle. Vallem allegedly claimed that she had left three vehicles at the residence to be fixed and when she arrived on the 27th, she claimed that two were missing.

According to the report, the deputy spoke to Vallem first and was told that Holloway had attacked her. Allegedly, Vallem was sitting with her vehicle door open when Holloway grabbed a metal pipe and charged her. The pipe speared Vallem in the left hip and, according to the report, left a laceration.

Allegedly, when the deputy turned to speak to Holloway, she became belligerent. After stepping toward the deputy and screaming at him the deputy tried to detail Holloway but he pulled away. According to the report, the deputy had to force Holloway into cuffs.

Holloway has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Resisting Arrest. Her total bond is set at $21,500.
