Crash on Highway 111 Leads To Woman Being Arrested for D.U.I.

COOKEVILLE, T.N.– A Cookeville woman who hit another vehicle on a ramp leading onto Highway 111 admitted to drinking prior to driving.

 

Robin Allison, 49, was taken into custody after she allegedly hit the vehicle in front of her  and then tried to drive away. When Cookeville Police pulled Allison over, she, according to the warrant, admitted to having drank “enough to drink to kill and elephant.”

 

Allison is charged with Driving Under the Influence, Implied Consent, Failure to Yield, Failed to Drive Within Lane, Signal By Hand, Arm or Signal Device and Fail to Exercise Due Care. Her total bond in $1,250.
