The building boom continues with 35 permits for just over 4 million in total construction. Of those permits, 19 were for new single family residential houses.
Comparing year over year, this July was 17% higher than July 2017 which is a big increase. 2017-2018 fiscal year was 19% higher than 2016-2017.
Since January 2015, we have issued 643 permits for new single family residential houses.
It’s going to be very interesting to see where our 2020 census numbers come in at. I think we will see a large increase in our county’s population.
