Authorities Arrest Two Accused Drug Dealers In Putnam County

PUTNAM COUNTY, T.N. — Authorities in Putnam County say they arrested two accused drug dealers on October 11th.  A deputy conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 56 and Buffalo Valley Road on a Dodge Challenger after the vehicle ran a stop sign, according to a news release.

Deputies say a search of the vehicle ended with the seizure of more than two pounds of marijuana.  Antonio Lanham, 18, and Oscar Gutierrez, 19, were both arrested for felony possession of marijuana for resale.  The vehicle was then seized and towed to an impound lot.

Gutierrez and Lanham were both officially charged with manufacture/delivery/sell of a controlled substance.  Both men were give a $5,000 bond.
