Both the Lady Cavs and Cavaliers battled on the hardwood at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Blowout for the golden ball only to come up short in their respective championship games.
In girls action, the Lady Cavs were out scored 83 – 75 by South Laurel High School of Kentucky in a run and gun shootout.
The Cavaliers lost in a close one 67 – 64 to Lexington High School from South Carolina.
