MONTEREY, TN — Two vehicles collided on Muddy Pond Road in Monterey, leaving one dead and one uninjured.
Around 11 a.m. Tuesday, the driver of a 2003 Mazda, identified as Benjamin Bohannon was driving on Muddy Pond Road in Monterey when his vehicle crossed the center line. When Bohannon’s vehicle crossed the line, it struck an oncoming vehicle head on.
The other vehicle, a 2002 Chevy, driven by Nehemiah Horst, 18, of Monterey. Horst was not injured in the accident.
Bohannon died as a result of the accident.
Tennessee Highway Patrol reports state that both parties were wearing their seat belts.
