The first Shawn Moffitt Memorial Jamboree, or The Moff, will be held on Friday, August 16th at 7 p.m. at Livingston Academy. Livingston Academy and Jackson County High will participate in the friendly game in honor of Shawn Moffitt who lost his battle to brain cancer in the Spring of 2019.
Moffitt was part of both the Livingston and Jackson County school systems and a beloved member of both.
During the half-time portion of the game, LA will be dedicating their training room in honor of Moffitt.
All proceeds of the game will go towards the establishment of a scholarship in Moffit’s name that will be presented each year to a Senior.
