For Immediate Release

On Sunday, October 20, 2019, Officers Joseph Harsh and Matthew Tyree approached an SUV in the parking lot of 606 W Main St for open container violation. Officer Harsh had noticed the open container while on foot patrol and alerted Officer Tyree, where they waited for the occupants to reenter the vehicle. Two subjects out of Texas, identified as Matthew Martin and Kimberly Grelle-Swint, entered the vehicle from Subway when the officers approached.

During the investigation, Mr. Martin was found to be in possession of a green leafy substance that he identified as marijuana as well as a white, powdery substance that Mr. Martin identified as “speed” or cocaine. Ms. Grelle-Swint was also found to be in possession of several pieces of white, crystalline substance that she identified as “meth” as well as cannabis gummies that she stated she had purchased in Colorado.

Mr. Martin was arrested as a Fugitive from Justice, for a warrant out of Texas, and simple possession of narcotics. Ms. Grelle-Swint was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine.
