Haunted Trail Festivities at Cordell Hull Birthplace

This weekend’s planned Haunted Trail festivities at Cordell Hull Birthplace are shaping up to be wild & spooky fun! Our event runs from 6-9pm on the evening of Saturday, October 26th. Here’s everything you need to know:

Family Hour: From 6-7pm we’ll be offering a gentler and less-spooky tour of the haunted trail for the younger and/or more-sensitive crowd.

Parking & Event Entrance: Parking at the trailhead will be restricted to vehicles with handicap parking placards/stickers.  All other vehicles must park at the museum parking lot and guests must enter and exit the event through the museum, following the lights.

Planned Festivities:

  • Storytelling & s’mores around the campfire near the Birthplace Cabins.
  • Guided Haunted Trail experience starting at the trailhead
  • Hotdog meals for sale at the trailhead
  • Candy for the first 200 attendees (handed out upon departure)

Inclement Weather: We’re all hoping for cooperative weather for this weekend, but we’ve seen mixed forecasts. In the event that weather conditions make the trail unsafe, we’ll post a cancellation notice on our park calendar and on our Facebook page. Please check before venturing out.
