J. P. Key goes from Hunter (Cavaliers) to the Hunted (Lions) by signing with Freed Hardeman University in Henderson, TN.
Key, according to CHS Head Baseball Coach Butch Chaffin, is one of the hardest working players he has ever coached. J. P. was a consistent contact hitter in the Cavalier line-up for the past three years. Batting .340 or better with 2019 topping out at 405.
