Levy’s steal seals the deal in second overtime!!
With heavy hearts and emotionally drained from the devastation of the tornado the Lady Bees traveled to Meigs County to take on the Lady Tigers. by the quick action of Levy, by stealing the ball and making three free throws, Upperman Lady Bees win when it counts and vaults into the State Tournament starting on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 in the glass house, on the campus of MTSU, in Murfreesboro.
The game was nothing short of a story book finish, being tied at the end of regulation each team scored once in the first overtime to remain tied at 38 apiece. In the second overtime, by the quick action of Levy stealing the ball and making three free throws, Upperman Lady Bees win when it counts and vaults into the TSSAA State Tournament starting on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at 4:30 p.m. in a match up with Gatlinburg Pittman in the glass house, on the campus of MTSU, in Murfreesboro.
Reagan Hurst was the leading scorer for UHS with 14 points.
Final score UHS 44 Meigs County 42.
