Updates from the CRMC Foundation

Tornado Relief

Thanks to collaboration with the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee,                              

we have been able to support local survivors of the March 3 tornado with immediate

financial assistance for critical needs like housing, transportation, groceries, medical

needs, repairs, child care and other basic necessities. In total, we have assisted 191

families over the last several weeks. We are thankful to have been able to play a small

role in the tremendous outpouring of community support.

Donations

We are grateful to the many organizations and individuals who have donated supplies, food and shown such wonderful support for local healthcare workers.
Life Church, Putnam County RAM Host Group, Crazy Quilters Club of Cookeville, Cheryl Moore, The Biz Foundry, Janet Coonce and many other individuals and group have recently donated masks.

Thank you Jack Daniels Distillery for a recent donation of hand sanitizer.
Also a huge thank you to Arbys, Starbucks, Chicken Salad Chick and all the other wonderful restaurants and businesses who have donated food for healthcare workers at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Summer Schedule for Programs and Events

The health of our community is our greatest concern, so we are being cautious as we consider events and activities scheduled for the summer months. Below is a list of tentative event dates. Updates on these events will be sent out in the coming weeks.
Rescheduled – The Pink Gala is now scheduled for Friday, July 24.
The Anne Cameron Tournament is scheduled for June 20.
The Summer Splash 5k is scheduled for June 27.
The CRMC Golf Classic is scheduled for August 20 and 21.
The donated medical equipment program should resume June 1.
Carmen’s Fund CPR classes should resume June 1.
The date has not been finalized for the 2020 Remote Area Medical Clinic.
