Byrdstown-Pickett County Updates 7/10/20

Happy FRIDAY!

Well, summer is in full force and it is HOT and will continue to be for the next several days at least. Stay hydrated and safe! Unfortunately, with the continued rise in COVID-19 cases Governor Lee has directed local Mayors and County Executives to decide what is best for their communities. County Executive Garner and Mayor Gibson have chosen to highly encourage everyone to wear masks when out in public, keep social distancing and wash those hands well. Masks (free) are available at the County Executives Office, Town Hall and the Pickett County Health Department.

K&S Farms will be at the Farmers Market Saturday, July 11 from 9AM until noon with their local lavender products. Steve Reagan hopes to be here too, but we are unsure of what he plans to bring. Feel free to call in the morning for the latest updates. (931) 864-7195. We have another Ribbon Cutting to share with you this week, so keep on going to the bottom of the email!
