Happy Weekend!

Whew! It’s a hot one out there! Stay hydrated and cool. School has announced that they will start back on August 5th. There are 2 Sales Tax Holiday Weekends this year. You can get the details here. The Highway 127 Corridor Sale is also going on as scheduled Aug. 6-9, 2020. The Fall Dale Hollow Bass Classic will be held the weekend of November 14 & 15, 2020. More details about that in the near future. Good Neighbors Theatre has opted to do a “Social Distancing Gala” this year. They can really use your help. Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park has several events/workshops/activities in the coming days. Check their calendar here.

This weekend: Brain Blast Trivia at Obey River Grill at East Port Marina on Friday nights. Bald Rock Package will have live music on Friday evening. The Backyard Grill will have karaoke Friday and Saturday evening – and some homemade blueberry cheesecake as long as it lasts. They will be closed Monday to replace their central air. Cooler air is on the way! In the meantime, Friday and Saturday, you can get a free scoop of ice cream with your order. Live music at the Dixie Cafe on Friday and Saturday nights. Plus there are several other wonderful places to grab a bite to eat in the area. You can find our members here: www.dalehollow.com/dine. 

The Business of the Month program is starting back in August! WE NEED YOUR INFORMATION!!! If you are a Chamber Member and have not done so yet, please, please, please fill out our survey – you can access it here. IF YOU DO NOT SEND IN THE SURVEY, YOU WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE GROUP THAT THE COMMITTEE WILL CHOOSE FROM. Also, if any business is following the Tennessee Pledge rules and would like a poster to put up, OR OTHER ITEMS, stop by our office and let us know.
