The Cookeville Cavaliers were awarded a win over the Rockvale Rockets, as the Rockets were forced to cancel their remaining two games due to COVID issues, according to CHS head coach Jimmy Maynord.
The Cavs will move to 6-3 overall, and 3-3 in Region 3/6A on the season with the win.
The win creates a likely win-and-in scenario for the Cavs in their week 11 matchup with Blackman (2-6, 2-3) with the winner of the game earning the fourth seed of the region and reaching the postseason.
