The Cookeville Cavaliers got back into the win column with a 72-47 win over the McMinn Central Chargers on Monday afternoon in the Sonic Shootout in Sparta.
The Cavs raced out to a 40-18 lead at halftime and never looked back as they snapped their four-game losing streak and moved to 6-5 on the season.
Jackson Madewell led the way with 20 points. Windle Oakley added 18 and Colin Ayers tallied 10.
