CPD Investigates Death on Autumn Avenue
Cookeville, TN – At approximately 11:00 PM, on Friday, December 4th, Cookeville Police officers were dispatched to 1495 Autumn Avenue in reference to a stabbing.
Upon officers’ arrival, they found 40-year-old Brandon Lee Threet of Cookeville, suffering from a stab wound to his chest. Officers performed life-saving measures on Mr. Threet before he was transported to the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Sadly, Mr. Threet succumbed to his
injuries and was pronounced dead at the medical center.
This incident is still under investigation and appears to be domestic-related. A suspect has been located and interviewed. The Office of the District Attorney General for the 13th Judicial District is assisting in the investigation.
