Welcome to the last weekend in February!

Well, February has presented challenges for many of us. The 70+/- degree weather this week was very refreshing! I hope everyone has been able to overcome the power outages and other hazards. THANK YOU to all the crews that were out and about helping everyone in any way to get through the event.

Business of the Month
February 2021
Union Bank

The Byrdstown-Pickett County Chamber of Commerce has selected Union Bank as the recipient of the February Business of the month for 2021.

The original branch in Jamestown, served both Fentress and Pickett counties until the Byrdstown office opened.  Union Bank in Byrdstown was opened in 2010, growing tremendously over the past 10 years.  Union Bank strives to support all local events and charities with donations of food, water and other items and has generously given to the public every year.  Their plan is to build a stand alone building on highway 111 in the near future.

If ANYONE needs any help, questions answered, etc., please reach out to our office (931) 864-7195, the County Executive’s Office (931) 864-3798 or Mayor Gibson’s Office (931) 864-6215.
