Upperman baseball pitcher and left fielder Eli Huddleston was named a finalist for the TBCA Class AA Mr. Baseball award.
Huddleston, a sophomore, went 6-3 with a 0.90 ERA, 72 strikeouts and eight walks in 46.2 innings pitch. At the plate he batted .371 with 26 hits, one home run, 19 RBIs and 21 runs scored.
