Schools are out and summer fun has only just begun. Fathers Day is June 20, so you have a couple more weeks to get ready to make Dad feel really special. Lots of great shops locally to fill the bill, plus plenty of yummy food options. The June Chamber Board of Directors Meeting will be held on June 10 at 11AM at the Backyard Grill. The 2nd Quarter JECD & ID Board Meetings will be held on June 16 at 11AM here at the Welcome Center.
This weekend and soon! Trivia & Karaoke at Obey River Grill tonight (Friday evening) beginning at 6:30PM. Wine & Swine at Highland Manor Winery is Saturday, June 5. You can get tickets here. Live Music Friday and Saturday evening at Dixie Cafe, The Steel Coop and Sulphur Creek Resort/Mike’s Landing Restaurant and Lounge. You can find our member places to dine here: www.dalehollow.com/dine. Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park has a variety of workshops this weekend and beyond – new ones have been added. Space is limited so you need to register for the one(s) you are planning to attend! Click on over and check them out and sign up.
