The 2021-2022 TSSAA high school sports calendar officially began on Monday. Football teams across the state begun their practices in preparation for the 2021 season.
Four teams covered by UCR competed in 7 on 7 competition on Monday at Cookeville High School. Cookeville, Livingston Academy, Upperman and White County each got work in against competition from other schools.
The teams will return Tuesday at 3 p.m. for another day of practice. Check out photos from day one of competition:
