The Cookeville Cavaliers battled it out on the gridiron on Thursday night in their Jamboree against Siegel, a contest the Stars won 13-7.
The Cavaliers’ lone score came on a dart from senior quarterback Mace Thomsen to Brock Owen in the red zone, a good sign in Thomsen’s recovery from his ACL tear a season ago.
The next time Cookeville will take the field, it’ll be the real thing against Upperman in the season-opener on August 18 at Tennessee Tech.
