Gordonsville hosted their annual jamboree on Friday that featured Smith County, Clay County, DeKalb County, Livingston Academy and Watertown.
Smith County battled the Purple Tigers to kick everything off, taking a 13-0 win over Watertown. Jermaine Cason was electric in the second quarter of action, as he accounted for both of the Owls’ touchdowns on two separate quarterback keepers.
DeKalb County earned a 14-0 win over Clay County in a physical matchup. Backup quarterback Jordan Parker put together an excellent showing with touchdown passes to Trace Hamilton and Bryson Trapp for the 14 points.
Finally, the host Tigers took home a 21-0 win over Livingston Academy. Gordonsville showed off both their powerful run game and their up-tempo offense, as runs by Canaan Musgrove and Jemario Williams, along with a nine-yard touchdown catch by Peyton Climer, accounted for all of their points.
