Cullom Shines For Bees In White County Scrimmage

Story and Photos by Rusty Ellis

The Upperman Bees hosted the White County Warriors for their second scrimmage on the week on Thursday night.

White County struck first early, as Malaki Dowell caught a short pass from Tripp Pinion and turned it into a big play. The star of the scrimmage however was new Upperman quarterback Ja’Lyric Cullom, as he created multiple big plays with both his arm and his leg.

The shining moment for Cullom came when he loaded up and dropped a deep pass into Jaxson Bush’s hands for an easy score. Terrance Dedmon also created a big play on the ground with a touchdown run of his own that saw him shake several defenders en route to the end zone.
