Curtis Beaty Named New White County Football Coach

By Michael Lindsay

A familiar face is taking over the White County High School football program as former assistant coach Curtis Beaty was named head coach Monday afternoon.

“I’m excited for the program to keep the momentum rolling,” Beaty said. “Thanks to the White County administration for trusting me with this job. Thank you to my wife, Aria. A lot of coaches forget that, and she allows me to do this and be with these young guys. I thank God for choosing me to impact young men’s lives.”

A Livingston native, Beaty played high school football for the Wildcats and was a member of the 2005 state championship team. Beaty played college football at Cumberland University and served as an assistant at Livingston under Bruce Lamb and then at White County under Mark Frasier.

“I want the guys to be the best version of themselves,” Beaty said. “One thing better every day.”
