The White County Warriorettes advanced to the Frank’s Christmas Shootout with their 77-55 win over Baylor.
Both teams battled early, as Sparta led 17-14 at the end of the first quarter.
The two teams went back and forth in the second as well, as the scoring was all knotted up at 18-18 for the frame. This added to a 35-32 lead for the host Warriorettes at the half.
Sparta pushed their lead out a little further in the third by outscoring Baylor 19-16, taking a 54-48 lead into the fourth.
The Warriorettes blew the game wide-open in the final quarter, outscoring Baylor 23-7 to earn the 77-55 victory.
