GCJT: 34 Area Golfers Face Off at Heatherhurst; Parks Fowler Shoots 75

The Golf Capital Junior Tour faced off at Heatherhurst Golf Club in Fairfield Glade Monday afternoon with 34 area golfers competing in the fifth event of the season.

Cookeville’s Parks Fowler shot the day’s lowest 18-hole score with a 75, followed by Monterey’s Landon Raines and Upperman’s Gavin Goodsey at 78.

On the 18-hole girls side, Abigail Scoggins shot a 79, followed by Stone Memorial’s Sarah Bass at 84 and Chloe Boyd at 90.

16-18 Girls: Chloe Boyd 90 (Liberty), Sarah Bass 84 (Crossville), Abigail Scoggins 79 (Gaiesboro)

16-18 Boys: Parks Fowler 75 (Cookeville), Landon Raines 78 (Monterey), Gavin Goodsey 78 (Baxter)

13-15 Boys: Hayden Weaver 50 (Kingston), Braden Lee 46 (Monterey), Fischer Leftwich 42 (Baxter)

10-12 Boys: Eli Verstynen 49 (Crossville), Max Vanwinkle 43 (Crossville), Landry Moses 42 (Cookeville)

10-12 Girls: Keira Kelly 67 (Crossville), Hannah Jones 63 (Crossville)

8-9: Remington Cooper 56 (Crab Orchard), Finn Patterson 66 (Crossville)

 

The Golf Capital Junior Tour will be in action next Monday, June 26, at Stonehenge Golf Club in Fairfield Glade.
