The end of the football season means it’s time to hand out region awards, and several Upper Cumberland athletes were honored in Region 4-4A’s superlatives.

The awards are as follows:

MVP: Clayton Harris (Upperman), Gabe Borders (Macon County)

Offensive MVP: Tripp Pinion (White County)

Defensive MVP: Kam Bush (Upperman)

Most Outstanding LB: Ari White (DeKalb County), Walter Caine (Upperman)

Most Outstanding DL: Hunter Griggs (Macon County)

Most Outstanding DE: Eli Bullock (Upperman)

Most Outstanding DB: Carmine Phillips (Upperman)

Most Outstanding OL: Evan Briggs (Upperman)

Most Outstanding RB: Malachi Trapp (DeKalb County), Ethan Palk (Upperman)

Most Outstanding TE: Brady Lane (Stone Memorial)

Most Outstanding WR: Bear Eldridge (Stone Memorial), Branson Turnbow (Upperman)

Most Outstanding QB: Nick Osmun (Stone Memorial)

Most Outstanding Returner: Ryan Lyons (DeKalb County), Maddox Oquendo (Stone Memorial)

Most Outstanding P: Dylan Watson (Livingston), Brody Frye (Macon County)

Most Outstanding K: Jamie Perez (Cumberland County)
