Fresh off of a 13-1 season that saw the York Institute Dragons make to their second consecutive Class 2A state semifinal, the Dragons are well-represented amongst the region 2-2A awards.
The awards are as follows:
Coach of the Year: Derwin Wright
MVP: Myles Leffew
Defensive Player of the Year: Michael Wall
All-Region: Bryson Bilbrey, Riylin Miller, Aiden Sweathomas, Blake Voiles, Joseph Linder, Tanner Tallent, C.J. Brown, Landon Sells.
Honorable Mention: Logan Pannell, Lake Drake, Austin Huddleston, Dante Brown.
